During 04^th and 06^th June 2019, the 39th APCOM (Application of Operations and Computer Science Research in the Mining Industry) conference was held in Wroclaw, Poland. It should be noted that APCOM has become one of the most prestigious international forums to present, discuss and examine cutting-edge and emerging technologies in the mining industry to facilitate the advancement of the research methodologies of operations and computer science applied in the industry, with more than 50 years of tradition.

This time the focus of the Conference is on Information Technologies (IT), and its title is "Mining Goes Digital". Work is presented on Resource Estimation and Geostatistics, Mining Planning, Robotics, Equipment Automation, Autonomous Guidance, and many others that include integrative aspects of Digital Transformation in the mining industry.

Delphos Mine Planning Laboratory had the active participation of 3 of its members through presentations with publication of articles in proceedings book in APCOM 2019.
