On Thursday, August 08th, the Ph.D. student in Mine Engineering of Delphos Laboratory, Gonzalo Nelis, has successfully given his qualification exam, whose objective is to verify that the student has achieved the skills and mastery sufficient to develop the discipline of Mine Engineering. Under the title, Production Scheduling Methodology considering the creation of geometalurgical polygons and restrictions, and before a commission made up of Doctors Xavier Emery, Brian Townley, and Nelson Morales, Gonzalo was approved to develop his Ph.D. thesis in mine planning.
